:type If your machine is over 20,000 miles on it , it is a good idea to go to a Detroit Deisel or Catterpilar dealer to pick up a tester sample kit to have your engine oil tested for bearing metal,glycol also to see if your pride in oil seletion has done its job. do theis when you do the oil change as wel as cut open the oil filter to check for strange stuff.
This should be done at 15,00 mile incriments and keep the burn recoud that the tester hands you so it can be with the bike as a permine :wave t record
