View Full Version : New BMW1150Gs
I just purchased a BMW1150Gs demo with 600 miles on it.I paid $10,900 plus tax and tag.The bike is a sport yellow in color.I did not pay any transportation fees or set up.I also got the first 600 mile service done for free.I bought it at BMW of Tampa Florida. Was it a fair price?
Thanks Saint Pete Phil

Sounds reasonable to me!
But don't ask Desertrider....
:D
Congrats on the new bike. Where's the perfunctory photo of yet another stock GS?

If it is a 2003 non-ABS I'd say it was OK.
If it is a 2003 with ABS I'd say good deal.
If it is a 2004 dual-spark I'd say a steal!
No matter what I envy what you got there.
Enjoy the ride...

I usually ask that question before I buy a bike……not after:D
Congrats on the new scoot.

Sounds like you did fine. However I say that without knowing the year etc. The fact that you mentioned it is Sun yellow implies it is the sport model that does not come with ABS. If it is 2003 I would say you received a fair deal and you have saved yourself the 600 mile service to boot.
Good luck on the new scoot. I am very happy with mine, in fact I love it.

I have the same bike, I purchased mine in Feb. It had 27 miles, I paid $12,900, BMW made the first 5 payments, that brought it down to $11,900 .9 % financing that comes out $300 & change, total for four years. $217.00 for the 600mi service. I think you got a good deal. And they discontinued the sport, and they are sought after for lack of ABS. good luck

I still won't believe it until we see a picture of the bike - preferably with you giving that "look at me, I just a got this bike!" dopey look I know you've got plastered on your face everytime you look at it.
