Any recommendations on a cover for a 2001 R1150GS with Arrowflow. I'm looking for one I can easlily throw on the bike when it's still warm from commuting. Also, it would need to fit in one of my side bags.

Thanks.

Perhaps consider either the BMW very large cover for tour bikes that will have lots of room and it has heat panels that won't burn on the engine or exhaust. Other companies make similar ones too. The heat panel covers cost a little more and are sometimes a lttle bulkier item but for home it is fine or if you have trunk space for it. I have strapped mine on when the pipes were really hot and those panels really work well.

i have a dowco cover that i'm very happy with, i try and get the smallest size that will fit my bike (minus the sidebags) cause i find a big baggy cover will leave lots of puddles and act as a sail once it gets windy.

I bought a Nelson Rigg Defender 2000 size XL (2005 R1200 GS with Jesse bags) this summer. I called them to get a bit of info on size and they were very helpful. It cost about $80.00 and has a no-hassle waranty. The bottom 1/2 is heat resistant and I have put the cover on several times after just pulling into the garage, infact I did it today! It has a full elastic band all around the bottom with several elastic bungee type hooks and grommets, you could even run a cable through the grommets to secure the cover to the bike. Here is their web site: http://www.nelsonrigg.com/covers.htm I have no affiliation with this company but I do feel they have a good product. Good luck finding yourself a cover!

Thanks PUDGYPAINTGUY. Does the cover fit in your side bags easily?

Yes it does, very easily too. I bought the very large cruiser size that has plenty of room in it, and it is baggy enough not to generate any interest in what is under it.

+1 on the defender

It come with a stuff bag, but it is bulky.. I don't personally carry it around.. I only use it in the driveway.
