My son was helping me with my 2000 K1200LT this past weekend and grabbed the throttle grip, pulling it off and disconnecting the wires for the heated grip on the right side. One wire is orange and I can see where that goes but there is a black wire that apparently extends down into the grip for which I do not see a terminal or contact point. Does anyone know where the black wire connects on the grip? My grips are aftermarket, chrome and black, were on the bike when I bought it and have no manufacturer's name or model. If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it. Cold weather approacheth!! Thank You. Larry
