I have a 2003 R1150R. Now I'm going to sound like a moron here, but on my right side saddle bag I had a clip break. Its the clip that comes up and locks onto the side bag bracket when you push the handle down. the plastic clip broke in half. So I need to put in a new multi-function box or the latch/ handle assembly dempending on witch part fishce you look at. I have another multi-function box I got off a ruined bag but I was wondering if anyone had pics or directions on the best way to switch them out. I didn't do the best job taking the box off the old bag, but it didn't matter because it was ruined. I don't want to ruin my good bag. I would take it to the bmw dealer but they want $39.00 for the rivet set. I don't mind the labor charge, but $39 for 7 rivets is crazey. I would gladly take any advise I can get.
