I have a 1988 K100RT and am wanting to add additional driving lights. Can anyone steer me in the right direction? Is this something that severely taxes the electrical system? What and where to get/shop for the lights?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I have seen Motolights on several older K bikes, but I never installed them on my older RT basically due to cost... I do have a set on my new RT and they pretty much are the bomb.

Here is a link to an earlier thread which discusses this. There may be others also.

PIAAs or Hella would be a better choice than Motolights. I had Motolights on my K11RS, and am currently running PIAA 1100Xs on my R1100S- PIAAs far outshine, and have better build quality.

on my 85K RT I have Hella FF 50's mounted under the fairing by the forks. $30 on E-bay and some time.
