I'm looking at purchasing a Cee Bailey windshield. I need some advice.
I have a standard windshield from BMW that I do not like two reasons. First in the lowest setting the top of the windshield is right at my line of sight.
second the clarity is not too good, wavey distortion present.
I purchased a short Euro-Type for summer use. Love it! bought it second hand, don't know the manufacturer. It is too short for the cold Illinois Winter.
I would like to get a windshield that will:
A. Be taller and out of my line of sight when fully retracted.
B. Be crystal clear, no distortion.
I like the looks of Cee Bailey's. I know of the company through my work with aircraft, so they make a good product.
If I get a tall, +4 standard will it stall the windshield position motor?
Would a +2 standard be tall enough?
What about the "winged" cuts?
I hope some of you that have lived with these windshields will give me some advise.
Thanks!
