As recently as this last week there was an accounting of a motorcycle accident in Daytona, Florida during Octoberfest.
As reported this man & his wife from Coral Springs, Florida had ridden their Harley to Daytona for this event. While walking across the street holding hands the wife was struck by a crotch rocket, the rider was thrown off but the bike continued for about 150' dragging the lady to her death.
It is reported the kid riding the crotch rocket had a suspended license and several tickets for wreck less driving or whatever. It was also reported that he was doing a wheelie from the traffic light and going approx. 60mph at the time of impact.
