I'm a new member and just purchased a 2001 1150GS. I have the surging problem. Can someone direct me to how to articles for adjusting the valves, and sync.ing the trottle bodies? Dealer can't get to it until next week, and surging is driving me crazy.

as for the throttle body sinc-
One of the MOA gurus did an step by step article in the ON last year. I will try to remember to look up what issue it is in and get back to you.

The throttle body synch article was in September 2005 ON. Great step-by-step with pictures.

The above-mentioned advrider.com is where I found OVAD.

Oilhead Valve Adjustment for Dummies is fantastic reference and a fun read. I followed the instructions to the letter and oh, what a difference!

I've had my 2000 1150 GS for only 8 months and the valve adjustment corrected the surging for me.
