Location here is in the path of most Chicago storms. Push it north up the St. Lawrence.

Yesterday it was 82 in Dallas, today we're peaking around 65 right about now (09.46) then getting cooler for the rest of the day. But it will be 85 and rainy on Monday by current forecasts.
Long-term, I saw a thing on the news the other night about the El Nino that is predicted for this winter. They had a map of the Lower 48 on which there was a line I think from around Chicago or maybe a little east of there down to I think the southern tip of New Mexico. Everywhere west of the line should expect a warmer-than-usual winter while points east of it will have their usual temperatures. Stay tuned to see if it actually plays out that way. I dod remember that the El Nino of '97/'98 brought *LOTS* of rain to my neck of the woods, which is something we need so much more than desperately right now.
It's in the mid-40s here and sunny. It's going to be a cool Falling Leaf Rally but at least it won't snow. Maybe patchy frost tonight and tomorrow night but that will make for toasty sleeping in the down bag.

Those with the rough life (i.e. the Californians, Texans, and Southern Gents) please send some of that rough stuff my way!
We are expecting heavy frost on the pumpkin this weekend and I have an anniversary weekend planned. :heart :heart Good thing my Gerbings arrived yesterday. It's hard to keep warm on two seperate bikes.
Here's hoping for warm sunny skies in West Virginia this weekend!

It freaking snowed outside in Madison.
We got 2-3 inches here in Kalamazoo MI. Roads are clear, just wet. There is a freeze advisory in effect, but at this point I'm still planning on riding to Frozen Leaf :)

Shouldn't complain (http://wwwa.accuweather.com/index-forecast.asp?partner=accuweather&traveler=0&zipcode=47529&u=1) I guess.
(It was about 35° when I left for wotk this morning. I put my liners in my First Gear HT-Overpants and Kilamanjaro last night, so I rode in this morning and usual. Guess it is wait & see for tomorrow.)

It snowed from about midnight to 1PM today. No real sticking, just dusting on grass and roads. However the frozen rain was not fun...

2 feet of snow on friday the 13th in Buffalo, New York. That will frost a pumpkin !
The Jackolanterns are going to look interesting with snow and glowing orange cravings... :D
There is not a cloud in the sky here finally got the frost to melt off the bike seat... will have to slap some fresh rear rubber and new front pads before leaving... put on the new rear disc (onlye got 127K out of rear disc) and pads on Tuesday...
Enjoy the skiing back east :p :bolt

WINDY, WINDY, WINDY and cold here.. Actually had the wipers frozen in place on the cage. If I get the snowblower out of the shed we'll be guaranteed at least another couple weeks without any of that nasty white stuff .

Just another great big Great Lakes weather system punishing all who are in its vicinity.
The west Great White North is calm, dry and warm.
For now.

We had four inches of snow on the ground Thursday afternoon with freeze warnings (it was already 32 degrees) and winter storm alerts for the rest of the evening. I was due to ride down to the Falling Leaf rally and after some condiration, it was decided to drive down instead. It was a wise decision... and I still had a blast at the Falling Leaf rally! It made packing up REAL easy as I just threw everything in the Durango and took off without need to pack everything tightly...

Its funny how when you attend a rally in a car, suddenly you're very popular. Driving to dinner, driving for beer, etc etc. Brad and Veg put more miles on our car at Branson a few years ago than we did. :laugh

Yes... true... we were rather popular... we shuttled a few people to dinner, ran into town for supplies, etc. I think Wal-Mart sold out of the Coleman tent heaters rather quickly ;) Even the Durango couldn't get around the marching band festivity in 'downtown' though... that tied things up a little bit Saturday morning.
