Hello, I've had the "blinking ABS lights" problem on my 98 K12rs ever since I ran off into a ditch and got the back wheel going faster than the front.
the ABS lights wont reset when I restart the bike and I've been reading other posts about adjusting the sensor gap. I think I may have messed up the front sensor when I took that trip "off road."
Well, I went to do this today and noticed on the sticker on the fork leg that I need to take the gap reading where the paint dot on the toothed ring is aligned with the ABS sensor. I spun the front wheel around a couple of times and lo and behold I have no paint dot on the toothed ring! I looked again for a punched divot or anything that would indicate that it is "the spot." Nothing.
Can I just take the gap reading from anywhere?
