Here is a thread to post all the pictures and questions about the non-BMW brand motorcycles.
Harley Davidson held a press and showed their new XR1200 Sportster. The boys over at Raptors and Rockets got these pics which show a very flat track style Sporty with enough ground clearance to lean over quite a ways without dragging and grinding anything. According to HD, it has downdraft fuel injection, electronically controlled active air intake system and produces about 85 to 90 horsepower with 75 foot pounds of torque
Honda introduces a CBR 125
Hornet in Europe and 599 in the US, either way it gets a made over CBR600 engine and new wrapping.
Ducati - I love red bikes. Bipost Sport 1000
Suzuki B-King, none of these models pictured are scheduled to be imported to the US at this time.
Triumph Tiger - burning bright as a new model for 2007

I'll take one of those Sportsters, please.
Finally. HD acknowledges the XR750 in a meaningful way! :thumb

As M1Ka stated, the majority of these rides will never see the U.S. shores, including, I might add, the new "Sportie". Supposedly, even good ol' American Harley is making a "Euro only" model. :banghead
I'd like the XT660, one of those Sporties, and, yes, one of the big Banditos just for good measure. I did hear at one point that Suzuki would be bringing back the big Bandito for the U.S. Outdated tech, maybe, but other than the 2001/2002 models with the oil burning issue, a pretty darn good value motorcycle.

As a noted Harley basher for many years, let me say they have finally made some bikes that appeal to me, at least visually. This XR750 lookalike and the Night Rod (shades of the XLCR) really look sweet. I just wonder about ergos and perf. We shall see what we shall see.
