Heck, even if you don't this is unbelievable ! This cat has a toilet flushing obsession. Their water bill is going to be steep.

One of our cats will only drink water from the faucet. He will turn it on at a light trickle. The only thing he hasn't accomplished is turning the water off.

My cat likes to drink from the faucet also, but only the bathtub faucet!

When I was in college I had this crazy kitty who preferred the water that puddled in the bottom of the shower, especially within an hour or so after I bathed. I used to sneak up on her and turn on the water just for kicks. She also would hop up on top of the partition around the shower stall and stare down at me while I showered (I'm still trying to figure out why!). And she would come tearing into the kitchen at maximum speed and sliding around the corners whenever the electric can opener ran.

I wonder if it's one of those weird experiments to see if the water goes clockwise or counter clockwise... :heh

Our cat must be related to this one. Bill (ours) went through a toilet flushing phase a couple of years ago. We had two kids still at home then, so hearing one of the two toilets flush in the middle of the night was no biggie. But then we caught him. I was in my office area and heard it flush, then flush, then flush...WTH is going on? There he was, just like the video cat. Watching the swirl.
We broke him of it buy always shutting the doors for a couple weeks. Has not manifested itself again, thank God.

Was he flushing or "flushing"? I had a friend with a cat who did his business in the toilet. If she left the lid down, he'd go on the floor next to the toilet. Wouldn't get near the litter box.
