I have a 87 k75 (my first beemer) and need emblems for the tank. Can someone tell me a good place to get them?

Be sure to get or order the correct ones, they come in a lot of different sizes and types. Be sure to specify exact year and model etc. :eat

They make an emblem that is really nice, not the flat one that is typically used. This one is more like the car emblem and cost a few bucks more but looks so niiiiice. Ask the dealer.

I replaced the tank and tail section roundels on my K75S and used a couple of tricks to get them off without damaging the paint. I laid some electrical tape in line with the badge "crosshairs" to help with positioning later. Use some WD-40 (sparingly applied) to help loosen the adhesive. Then use dental floss in a sawing motion to cut the adhesive and lift the badge away from the tank/tail. Clean up the old adhesive and line up the badge to the tape you applied earlier and you're done. The new roundels will do wonders for the looks of your classic K.
