It's great visual art, but how many functional problems can you find in the design?

And now you have to run an anti-spyware scan, just like me!

Get a Mac :-)
Do you have to tuck your pants into your sock to ride it?

Huh... Firefox caught all of them for me...

...in any event. I LOVE that motorcycle!

Totally dig it.

How about the "Ed, Big Daddy, Roth" hood ornament?

It's unlikely the blue haired lady in the K-car is going to say she didn't notice you! :laugh

Move over Jesse James, here comes Johnny Depp.

That's not a bike, it's an abstract sculpture. There is no real functionality in that thing. A perfect example of more money than sense.

I am also assuming that the picture in the open forum here is the subject of the thread. Due to the warning about spyware and adds posted earlier I won't go to the linked site.

Yes, that's the bike in question in the picture. No suspension, no brakes that I can see, that thing that appears to be a headlamp looks pretty useless, the chain appears to be unlubricated (don't wanna mess up that nice brightowrk on the sprocket!), and I'm guessing that the turning radius is probably of approximately naval proportions. And that's just what I can think of. But it sure is purty. It has a sort of 'evil Victorian elegance' to it.

Alright, i have to agree that I would never trade in the practicality of my ride for a piece of art like that...

...but it's still a bike.

That's like saying a restored model a or a hot rod are not cars because they are not "practical."

Just a different type of "practical." (in this case, "practicaly unrideable")

;)

I pretty sure that helmet isn't DOT or Snell.

It's a bit hard to tell from the posted photo but it sure looks like the exhaust stacks are routed right at the drivers leg. If it is just in front of the footpeg the rider is still likely to get burned if they are stupid enough to ride that abortion. No brakes = real stupid rider.

It is an interesting design modification... would be interesting to use the design and improve it to a more "practical" working design to see really what is possible...

I gotta agree with Motor31, that thing looks like it belongs to the Adams Family and that includes the rider. What a waste of time, money & resources.

How many abstract paintings have I seen that are worth large amounts of money, and look like refrigerator art my son brought home from grade school!

Then I think of the hood ornaments on the convention center in Kansas City. The art was not in what is on the towers, but in getting paid to put it there.

If I look at it from that perspective it makes a lot more sense, and I can appreciate it!
