That pic reminds me of my GT taking on the hog house last year :) Powertrain tour was much better compared to the PA vehicle operations plant tour IMHO...I hope to tour the K.C. plant next year as well. Now, if I could just figure out how to get over to munich with a harley for a photo op there :thumb

It's almost impossible to test ride a new K12GT in the Bay Area. They are all bought and spoken for.

I think Marin still has one. I rode it. It made me giggle.

How bad do you want one? :evil I'm selling my Crystal Grey. It has a 1015 miles, Cee Baileys 2+2 light tint windsheild and the 49L Top Case and all the other high end options.
Buy it now and I will store it for the Winter and you can fly and ride in the Spring. :deal
I'm serious. Are you?

I don't have a new K-GT. I have the 04 model. In the picture I am wearnig a jacket despite the warm weather because underneath I have the "This is your brains..." T-shirt from Iron Horse in Tuscon.

How ya doin? :wave Ya made it home I see.
No, the starter problem was with my R60/5. I got that sorted out. It wasn't the starter, the timing had slipped.
Anyway, the KGT is by far the best running/handling bike I've ever own. However, I'm selling it due to a several reasons.
First, there's several things the wife does not like about it. Primarily she prefers a closer riding position between the passenger and the driver, she doesn't like foot pegs(prefers floorboards), her leg positions (knee bend) causes her fits (she has bad knees) on anything more than about a 1 hour's ride, she can't see past the driver(not enough pillion elevation, it's hard to mount up on with the pegs tucked under the leading edge of the bags and with the 49L topcase installed and last.......she says it just too damn quiet (boring)on the back.
My gripes are, I have a bad left elbow and a rickety right shoulder and with the adjustable bars all the way up and the seat on the lowered position, I'm still experiencing major pain after about an hour's ride. Just too much down pressure on my arm joints.
I can ride my GS for 8 hours at a time and never experience the pain I have on the GT.
Now, I know that I could spend another $$ grand or so on aftermarket parts and probably sort most of it out but, $20K+ is enough.
I've already talked to the dealer about it and he said that he's only getting one more for next year and since mine is the only crystal grey in the state, He should be able to sell it for me or I could trade it back in on a KLT.
