Looking to tighten up my ride with a new suspension and have a question for the more experienced k bike owners...

Progressive or works? Since I can't afford top of the line ohlins, between the two which should I choose as a sport touring NYC pothole dodging weekend touring weekday commuting type of rider?
Thx :usa

There is another thread "Shock and fork Spring advice K75" that covers some of this ground. Progressive is the most affordable, works well enough even with agressive riding. I have Progressive on one bike White Bro's on the other. White Bros is more adjustable for two up loaded riding, Progressive seemed kind of soft but that was before my wife lost 80lbs of extra luggage so overall weight is also a consideration.

Just replaced 2nd Progessive shock on an 87K100rs with 142,000 kilometers on the clock. I like it just fine for my style of riding and my 200lb frame. Have it set 2 notches up from soft setting. Recent 2000 kilometer, 3 day trip through PA, WV, NY, and Ohio re-affirmed my like for Progressive. You wont be unhappy.
