I have seen k100s with engine guards, and am looking for some before the snow hits WI this year (if last winter was any indication, I might be wanting them) I can't seem to find any online....can I get some help?

I got mine off of Ebay for $100.

Try http://www.re-psycle.com/ or http://www.beemerboneyard.com/

I have a Bob's BMW catalog and they have them listed. Looks like they are around $280 for a set.

Bob's number is 1-800-269-2627 or www.bobsbmw.com

I have seen K bike engine gaurds on e-bay a few different times. They are usually between $100 and $200. If you keep an eye on e-bay I am sure you will save some money getting them there.

eBay has a Favorite Searches feature that will notify you if the item you are looking for come available, so you don't have to search eBay every day.

Hi, All,
WARNING WARNING WARNING

I have bought engine guards off e-bay and at a rally. The ones from e-bay, although they said were for a K75, weren't. "Sorry, the sale is final." The ones I got at the rally looked good until I mounted them. They were ever so slightly bent. I can mount them, but they put a lot of stress on the mounts. If you buy used, try to get a guarantee you can return them for a full refund if they are bent!

I just bought a 92, K75RT with chrome engine guards[crash bars, but it seems it's no longer "PC" to call them that] , that I am thinking about taking off. They appear the same as the bars as on my neighbor's K100RT. On my K75 the bars fit through the vents in the side of the fairing. On his, there are holes cut in the fairing. Again, they are chrome, no scratches from drops. rj
