Since my current ride is an RT, I haven't spent any time on this forum, but the thought occurs to me: will this be the place for discussing the new F800's? Haven't seen anything on the MOA site, but there must be some interest being stirred up out there, especially among shorter riders. The reports from European riders are mostly very positive. There seems to be a growing concensus that we will see them next spring, the only question being price. At $10K they would be pretty attractive, at $12K, maybe not. Anyone got a deposit down yet?

There was considerable excitement here when the F800 story surfaced.
If you look on the upper right-hand side of the main forum page for the F650 you'll see a search tool, type in "F800" there are a handful of threads.
Until we actually see the bike in the US I don't think there will much more than idle speculation to be found here.
And don't discount the 650, it's an awsome do-it-all bike

Thanks, Steve. I'm fairly new to on line forums and often miss the obvious. Your suggestion led to interesting reading.
I would purchase one as soon as they hit the states. If they have a canbus system (I am out) I will keep my 650GS.
