Well I got my Roadster back last W-day. In the past 7 days I have put 600 mi on her and I am relieved to say the bike runs like a scalded cat. Velocity Cycle got it right the first time. The entire bill for harness R&R plus fuzes and a relay or two and labor and a state safety insp is or was $2524.00 and change. The ins co would not pick up the tab or any part of it because they will not pay for any electrical malfunction due to the installation of aftermarket electrical devices. The dealer told Ins Co. my Motolights caused the problem. Now, if a mouse had chewed on the harness and the thing melted down ,it would have been covered. It hurts to pay that kind of $ but honesty will win out, sometime ,somewhere. Going to put lots of miles of her this summer. So if you see a black Roadster running around South Centeral Pa give me a wave. Happy motoring
Sorry to hear about your ordeal. In the words of a former president . . ."I feel your pain." In the late 80s, I had just entered Daytona city limits when my voltage regulator failed and burnt or melted all things electrical. I'm glad to hear the dealer treated you well. Harley of Daytona, in a condescending voice, told me I was on my own since it was Bike Week. About a week later, thanks to an independent bike shop, my bike was fixed and I left Florida with an empty feeling in my stomach and wallet. Assuming it was wired correctly; ask the dealer if they will testify for you in small claims court.

The most remarkable thing about my mother is that for thirty years she served the family nothing but leftovers. The original meal has never been found.
