I've just discovered that it will be another 3 weeks, at the earliest, before my work permit is even considered for processing. As Karen is on a world trip for two weeks at the end of this month, I may as well hit the road on Unchained II.
I guess Canada is on the doorstep, or over the Cascades into the northern parts of the US. Open for ideas. A two week trip, not so much cash as last time, everything unique.
I've also started a second Unchained book,
Unchained across the synaptic gap.
This will be a book based on unlinked ideas that just crop up inside a helmet as you ride. So far it covers a conspiracy theory on Princess Di's death, why the Queen wears gloves, Bollocks and the various grammatical uses, plus a bit on Proust, photography and George Bush's impact on the double glazing industry in Europe. If any of you have contributions based on the senility that the open road can create, or the intense conceptualisation that can also be derived from a ride out, please let me have them. We might even end up with something that could define a motorcycling philosophy, then we can create a sect, recruit members, take their money and then all poison ourselves. Not sure about that ending though, it's a little bit too Disney!
