I'm a small guy and I'd like to move the bars back on my 2004 R1150RT an inch or so and perhaps a bit higher. Any elegant solutions or just a tubular bar adapter and whatever I can find?

Bob's BMW make some Bar-Bax that do both. I have some on my GS although be careful what you wish for if you use a tank bag as it can foul the bag somewhat by pulling the bars back or maybe that is just the GS with the crossbar...Wunderlich also make some offerings via the internet.

I found the Suburban Machine bar backs well made and raised the bars just the right amount for me. They were wonderful to deal with too.

Ditto - Cost about $90 including shipping for my R1200RT.

Chitwood, I just PM'd you. And then I noticed this thread is from August. :hungover But if you still need barbacks, let me know, I have some Mototechniques I no longer need.
