So I got Works Performance shocks and a Techlusion fuel injection controller for the RT a few weeks ago and have been waiting to put them in. Finally had time yesterday and, with the help of a friend, got everything installed, running and set up. After we had installed the Techlusion the bike was running very poorly and kept missing. We uninstalled the Techlusion and it still ran rough. I figured I wasn't going to get to ride today until Tim noticed that one of the throttle cables had come out of its housing and was causing the right cylinder to run out of synch. D'oh!! After we fixed that and re-intalled the Techlusion everything was beautiful again in RT land!!!

I got up early this morning and went for a long ride with two friends up to Julian, Laguna, etc. Absolutely beautiful day, perfect temperature and a great ride with tons of twisty roads and long wide-open straights. The shocks work amazingly and the bike has really come alive with the Techlusion.

Anyways, pictures:

The new rear shock and the old one. The new is fully adjustable for ride height, compression and rebound damping and pre-load.

Dave's Rune: This bike is freaking HUGE!!!! And low. Dave actually was giving a guy on an R6 a run for his money until he started grinding the exhaust!! :rofl

And the view from the top of Mt. Laguna looking out towards Anza Borrego with Dave wondering if that's a UFO:
