Are those wooden bridges safe........?

A person might think some of those wooden bridges are sketchy at best.

I rode over many of them during the rally. Vermont has 76 historic covered bridges still open to traffic. Amazing!

Note the roof in the picture. As long as the deck and beams stay dry the structure will last at least until peace breaks out in the Middle East.
