R1150GS vs R1100S

Folks,

I currently own an R1150GS. I'm thinking about getting a faster bike and I'm interested in the R1100S. Since the engines are similar I'm a little concerned that an R1100S will be similar in speed to my R1150GS, but with a more cramped riding position. Can anyone who has ridden both bikes enlighten me as to the differences in speed, acceleraton, etc., between those two bikes? Does anyone have any information or links to info about 1/4 miles times, top speeds, roll-ons, etc?

I know the differences in the two motors is the state of tune, or where they make their power. The 1100S motor makes it power higher in the rpm range where the GS definitely has more lower rpm 'grunt'. Go to a dealer and test ride the 1100S - that's really the best way to tell for yourself!
