I've got a '95 K75/3 with nice city bags. I'd like to put a hard top case on the integral luggage rack on the back, and my online searches just leave me confused.

Any suggestions?

The factory 21 liter one is sure to fit.. I don't know if it is still available new - but you can find them used on the IBMWR marketplace on occasion for around $125-150. Givi makes top-cases to fit anything - I don't care for them because they are SO big - but people who like to carry a lot of stuff, and don't mind the weight up high seem to love them.

I got a stocker on EBay for $100 for my K75RT. It's got a funny shape to the bottom but it fits nicely. Mine came from a K100RT and has a badge on the back saying so but I don't think I have anyone fooled.

I recently put a Givi rack and top case on the back of mine. I got it on eBay, from Midwest Cycle Supply. I had a few hassles because my bike is older than what's covered by Givi's warranty, but it looks like you have a '95, so you shouldn't have a problem with that.

The Givi rack uses the same screw holes as the BMW luggage rack, so installation is fairly straightforward.

Yeah, the Givi is pretty big. I haven't noticed a whole lot of wind resistance from it, but I haven't had it on very long.
