I could use some help from a BMW car guy out there.

I am looking for a schematic exploded diagram of the side marker light found on a BMW Z4. I would like a parts diagram such as found at Max’s parts fiche or AS Cycles but for the Z4 car. I have an idea, some old parts and time. Now I need more information.

Any help is appreciated. I have done some preliminary searching with no luck.

Could you be more specific? The Z4 part of the ETK (BMW's program online parts fiches are based on) simply shows the side marker lights ie: "no user servicable parts inside".
If it helps part numbers are
63 14 6 908 821 (left)
and
63 14 6 908 822 (Right)

Thanks to both of you. It is the germ of an idea that could turn into something cool or be a snotty mess like a cold, so its hard to be specific.

In the past I saw a Roadster that used the side markers mounted in the oil cooler covers to replace the front turn signals. I have a different mounting mind. The information or lack of information answers a question I had about how it worked on the car. Now I can daydream forward.

The trouble with riding is I think up winter projects. The trouble with this year is I couldn't do any of the projects I came up with last year. aaarrrrggghhhh I am behind. Any farther behind and I will be ahead :wave

Thanks again it did help.
