I am trying to find out who the sock vendor at the rally is. As I recall, they were selling riding socks only in three styles and had them all displayed on a well done wall display. I bought a couple of pair and they are GREAT! So....I want to get in touch with them to buy a couple more pair in their colder weather style. I recall a couple sales ladies, one in a kilt, one at the cash register and a guy in a kilt too. Anybody know these folks and maybe a web site? Thanks!

I wish I would have! I paid cash, no sales tax and no receipt. I "think" I have seen this vendor at other rallys but just cannot remember the name. I checked the rally book hoping a vendor spot earned them an ad in the book but, no luck.
Don't know if this will help but the home page has a rally vendor list for 2006. (http://www.bmwmoa.org/rally/rally06/rallyprocess.htm) You may recognize the name there or be able to eliminate vendors until you get the right one.

I got a pair, warm weather ones. They are great. I will look for a receipt when I get home.

Try Cycle Gadgets. They were in the North Vendor Building.
I bought some socks from them two years ago. Love em.

I believe they are the same people that were also selling those stretchy headwear things,Had Headwear.
The socks had something called coolmax.
I believe the company is called Cima International located in Glendale Heights,
Illinois 630-671-9710 or www.hadsales.com to order online.
Hope this helps.

I second this reccomendation! I got a pair of the "deluxe" socks and went back for two more only to find that they had closed early Sat! Wore the ones I got home and LOOOOVED them! A bit expensive but worth it!

I bought some at Lima last year and love them. So this year I bought 3 more pairs and the new cooler weather ones too; money well spent as they work and are long lasting.
Cheers, Greg

I have the handout from the rally. If you would like I will scan it and send it to you. Let me know.
