favorite rear shoes ?

I am pulling my rear whell this weekend,47k miles, no idea when shoes were done, past owner does not remeber, no records
so what is your favorite rear shoes and where to get em ?
I was told already either SBS or EBC are better then stock, but havent located eithere yet

ordered a set of EBC shoes and pads today
they were recomended by several local riders ( 1 BMW other honda)
organic, kevlar
let see, rear dealer shoes ( BMW of Eugene) $149
EBC front pads and rear shoes, total $81 includes shipping , gt them in 3 days

I was asked in a PM why replaceing the brakes so early
1) past owner was old school, using rear brake heavy and adjustment is nearly gone
2) have to pull the rear wheel to do splines, ( no record of) so I thought while I was in there, do the wheel bearings, seals and shoes ( or at least have a set of shoes ready to go, as I will use them some day)
3) was gonna change fork oil this weekend too, thought might as well take a better look at pads, and if needed, hey im ready

I am a firm beleiver in be prepared and preventative maintainance
