My '74 R60/6 has twisted forks. What do I need to loosen, other than the lower yoke bolts, to free up the forks?

Thanks, Stephen

David beat me to it. I've used that procedure and can vouch for it. Don't skimp on the piece of plate glass- it's vital to getting things right and if you get it from a small mom-and-pop glass place it should be dirt-cheep (mine was $7 I think, which included dressing the edges).
Also if you can make the dial-gauge tool shown in the Y-plane section, that is a great check to do. At a recent Boxerworks rally, Duane Ausherman taught us all to check forks for various probelms quickly and easily and at one point I was using the very tool shown in the pictures to check the Y-plane on several forks (but not my own, as my bike uses the bigger K75 type fork). Most were within .004", but you'd be suprised how many weren't. To make that gauge all you need is a cheep dial-gauge, a lower triple-tree from which to cut the piece that hooks around the fork-tube (make sure it's the right size), and an airhead cylinder stud. The stud is screwed into the piece of tree, and a small mounting tab for the gauge is welded to the stud. The gauge has a tab on it that is screwed to the tab on the stud.
