It's going to be hot......
You might want to swim in what your creator provided, some things to keep in mind......................................
*Huntington Gorge has claimed many lives....don't add to that sad tally
*It (skiiny dipping) is permitted in the Church Street Water feature only, if it is sanctined by the Arts Council as an "Artistic expression", or by the Burlington Justice Center as "an act of free speech".
* In more rural locations it might be OK if you don't scare the cows, Methodist ladies or small children.
*In Lake Champlain,....well the Lamprey don't discriminate.............

lol,
this is why its important to only do this at night when you're a little "in the bag" you won't scare anyone and you won't care about the lampreys :bolt

Given the average age and physical condition of this bunch the real danger will be us being mistaken for some rogue elephants and dispatched forthwith by the locals. Wear orange.

As for skinny dipping--
Vermont law sez that you can be in the buff in public, but you can't disrobe in public. So, get au naturel in the portapotty and then do what you have to do.
We had a nude bike ride for a gasoline free world the other weekend in Burlington.
I would also recommend Lake Pliead on Route 125 for those who wish to cool off. Go south on 116, turn west up route 125 to the top of Middlebury Gap. There's a parking area there and it's a short walk (1/2 mile) into the woods for some cool refreshment.
See you all on Saturday~

My favorite spot is off Rt 100 down around Wilmington, if you were headed East on RT 9 out of Wilington towards Brattleboro, take a right on 100, go about 1 mile there's a dirt road that branches off to the right (name?) but there's a feed store that marks it. Go to the end.... in the parking lot go as far right as you can, park, there's a trail to the ledges that's about a 10 min walk. Ask anyone once your there, thay will show you the spot.
This has been a very well known spot for many years, the VT power company owns the lake.
Don't forget sunscream.

My New England Puritan upbringing won't allow me to go au natural in public. Sorry. :(

it won't be too hot, today is really nice, nice breeze at the rally site...forecast looks good.
DO NOT swim in Huntington Gorge, they just had to rescue a woman out of there yesterday, she is really lucky. :deal

If you do decide to go skinny dipping, please do NOT ask Tuber to join you...nobody wants to see that...
Right Tuber???
See you (CLOTHED) at the rally!

Watch out for Champ - he's lurking in the deep waters of the lake and he's been seen all over!

Well next year if you go to the National in Wisconsin, let me warn you about swimming in Lake Michigan!! Rumor has it that there is a huge 25 foot long White Sucker that roams the shoreline looking for tasty morsels to feed on. Already there are unexplained marks found on deceased bathers that look like giant hickeys. The monstor has already earned the nickname "LIPS"!!!
