Ignition Trigger R65

Need some help! My niece has an 1982 R65 and the Ignition Trigger has Failed. Has anyone found an alternative replacement part? The dealer quoted $305 Dollars plus shipping which is fair enough. Being a college student funds are tight and we are looking to see if there is a cost effective measure to help her out? In advance Thanks for your support!

Some guys were talking about used parts from Re-Psycle on one of the other threads. I'd try used parts.

I will give that a try. I hope to solve this issue soon so I will post how it plays out!
