View Full Version : VW makes a Harley Transporter for EU
Found this for you Harley Owners. Trouble is it seems to be only for the EU.
VW is making a tranporter conversion (http://news.hspn.com/articles/408/1/VW-Multivan-Can-Now-Transport-Harley-Davidson-Motorcycles) for its multi van so that it can transport your HD.

VW calls this "easy in." I don't think so.
Look at this poor guy trying to get the motorcycle into the van:

Good luck not dropping the bike off the narrow ramp.
Now, put a windshield or fairing on the bike. "Easy in" ... not!

I guess they don't ride 'em over there either.

Which is the worse form of Harley bashing? Droping one off the narrow ramp in the back of you VW multi van (what ever happened to the magic bus but I digress) or the crack about they don't ride them over there either.
I personally like both observations, particularly the one about not riding.:jester
Hope GLIDER doen't take offense :bolt

I don't think an LT would fit in there....

I doubt a GS would either, too tall.

It's not a problem for the typical Harley owner, they are experienced in that regard.

Loading bikes into a van can be a challenge.

Challenge? It's no challenge at all. Why, here's a photo from last year, where two friends and I loaded THREE bikes into a VW van:
