How are the shower and restroom availabilties this year ? It seems there is never enough showers and you have to either take one at 3 or 4 a.m. or stand in line for like hours.

One "shower rig, 18 wheeler" seems like an afterthought! Maybe two would be better....I know some rally facilities in the past have had existing showers on site and have added the trailer rig as a bonus. Some local schools have contributed to this shower phenom as well, with good results I think. I personally like the big rig, 18 wheeler shower deal, as they seem to be well maintained. So how about bringing in two of these, powers that be? Randy13233 :D

I believe that there are 26 shower heads on site, plus the additional ones coming with the trailer.

Greetings,

There are installed showers on site, the trailer is a bonus. The installed showers are spread out all over the place in clusters of two to four which is another reason why we got the trailer.

There is a men's room in the hallway between the Miller Expo and Blue Ribbon Pav. that has 8 showers and will be open 24 hrs. There are 8 mens and 8 womens showers in the trailer.

There will also be showers available at St. Mary's College just down the street.

Best,

Shower? I thought this was a Rally :-)
Anyone remember the COLD outdoor showers in Madison way back when?

Mary does feet! Michael, I'm staying away from...............Another thought; It has never ever been a positive topic, regarding showers at any national rally I've ever been to. They have always been, just average to poor. I know Dave S. was at 49er this year and their event(s) have had the best showers of about any rally I can recall. The trailer rigs are best, it seems, bar none! There is usually always a person manning these for cleanliness,etc..to some degree anyhow. Forgive my blasphemy, Oh Lord! I am a lowly Beemerphile and have sinned. Happy Trails,Randy13233

We've always had good results with the off site showers.

And we've learned to get one motel room that we (club members) use as a private shower/****ter.

If you're picky about where you shower or _hit be pro-active and get yourself a room and stop bitching about it.

It is what it is............

Enjoy!

Rob,
Mike,

Some friends where asking me about the shower set up at St. Mikes.

Will it be similar as in the past?

Locker rooms, open most of the day etc?

I bet St. Mike's has some nice facilities.

How far is it?

Thanks,
Jason

St Michael's College is located about 2 miles due west of the Rally site on Rt 15, the same road as the Rally site.

The hours are 0700-0900 and 1600-2100.

I am reminded about the showers at the DuQuoin, Illinois national. The were the spigots with hoses on them at about waist high where they washed off the animals during the fair, etc. Except for being kind of out in the open and having to crouch...what the heck.
