Does anyone have experience using a Aeroflow Sport windscreen on a K1200?
I am 5'9" and use a BMW comfort seat. I usually ride with the seat in the low position. I am wondering if I will end up in quiet air? My stock shield produces smooth air, but is very noisy. Please advise. Thanks!

Maybe a bit off the mark but...
Using the Aeroflow standard height touring screen is quite a change from standard or even the GT screen. Very quiet, very smooth airflow, good for your pax too. It does what it says it will. I expect the sport screen would too.
And now for the commercial...
I have to plug my used Aeroflow standard height touring screen. ALL hardware, bumpers, and LFP is new. Only the screen itself is used. I inherited it... long story. PM for details.

Thanks for the info and the plug. Thanks but no thanks on the screen. I am not ready to make the jump to such a large screen. The sport version seems to be the best compromise for me, purely from an aesthetics point of view.

While we're on the subject of windscreens...
How about Parabelum windscreens? I see them advertised a lot in the mags.

I put a Parabellum on my 92 K75RT last fall. I did it to help dissipate a lot of the heat that the K puts out. It does a pretty good job of getting more airflow to me with the slot design, smaller size and optional pop vents. The quality is excellent and I believe that it improves my gas mileage slightly as their ads claim. I like to look over my windshield and the medium model works well for my 5'10" height. There is very little (if any) turbulence coming across my helmet and I now have a clear field of vision across the top of the windshield.

Took some advice and got a Parabellum windscreen. WOW, it's everything it was advertised to be. The man who makes these things is a Prince!!! Get one.

I have a Parabellum screen on my K1200RS ... GREAT product at a price that's about 30-40% cheaper than the Aeroflow CeeBailey units.
I HIGHLY recommend it for quality and functionality plus the substantial cost savings.

Looks like this thread has been dead for a while, but in the past few months I've tried a Parabellum +6" and the Aeroflow tall on my '07 K1200GT. I'm just under 6'2" tall and the stock shield gave me very little protection.
My dealer had very good things to say about Aeroflow but the shields for the '06-and-up shields GTs weren't ready this Spring so I tried the Parabellum. It was definitely way better than stock and I probably could have lived with it, except that it didn't quite put me in a (relatively) calm air bubble. As I adjusted the screen up higher and higher, the rushing noise of the wind would decrease to a point, then I would begin to get buffetting (rumbling). I rode about 4000 miles with this screen, always adjusted perhaps 1-2" from its highest possible point. If there were nothing better, I would have been satisfied.
When the Aeroflow screen came out, I ordered it and have not been disappointed. It puts me in calmer air, with the screen lower than the Parabellum. Both screens are very clear and easy to see through. Everything about the fit and finish of Aeroflow, including the instructions, are impeccable. It has the same general behavior as the Parabellum, whereby if it's adjusted too high, I can get some buffetting, but the quiet point, about 2-3" from it's highest adjustment point for me, feels dead calm.
I also had the opportunity to try a prototype version of the Aerogards. These are fairing flares that block the air coming around the fairing. See http://www.aeroflowscreens.com/K1200GT.htm . I was surprised at how effective they are. One drawback is that with all of this protection, I was warmer when riding in hot weather. But an unexpected advantage was much increased rain protection during down pours.
So I would agree with the above posters generally. Parabellum makes an effective screen at a reasonable price. But in my experience Aeroflow is better for someone my height and has been worth every penny of its cost to me.

I'm very happy with my Parabellum. I'm sure the Aeroflow is good too.

I ride a K 1200 R Sport (2007) and wondered if anybody made a bit taller windshield? Or, any windshield for that matter?
