I picked it up last Saturday. I've had a blast riding it around town. I finally had a chance to take some pictures yesterday. You can find them here...

I like your style, :brow you are a man with thoughts like my own. I am waiting for my RT to come in and I have recentlly been thinking it would be great to get a GS in the next year or two to have the option of heading down some country roads or even head up to Alaska. Awesome to have one of each, I hope to join you with the same in the coming years. Great website, I really like the pictures and I definitey want the engine bars for my RT.

That is sweet!! I like the Black/Red. Are you going to get a BM seat for the GS?? Jim has one and it is NICE in the front - after 500 miles - the back seat is soooo painful. :dunno
We rode 2 up to NH this past weekend to pick up my new ride and I was soooo hurtin' when we finally got there!!
I like riding the GS - it is soooo much fun. It just feels so light and fun. BUT - my ST is more fun :dance
Anyway - enjoy your new ride!! Congratulations!!
Here's a pic of Jims bike with the BM seat.

Thanks for all the kind words. I love this bike! I can't wait to get it dirty (Does BMW sell accessory jars of German mud?) And yes... a BM saddle is a must. I live 2 hours away from his shop, so a ride-in appointment is easy. The stock seat is not a bad as my stock RT seat was, but I do not like the grippy material with which it's upholstered.
Deniss... congratulations! Good luck sleeping Wednesday night! :)
