remote volume

the remote volume button seems to only work to turn the volume up. it does not want to turn the volume down. The button on the radio seems to work both ways. Is this a matter of cleaning the contact on the 'downside' of the button? Should i get a new control? If so any suggestions on where to get those??

I would recommenda quick contact cleaning first, before doing anything else. Also you may want to check the wiring harness to make sure nothing has come loose

Right. Sometimes you have to go to profile to figure out what bike...often times actually...

R1100RTL I think...the one with the radio and the switch/control on the left handlebar.
