K75 Brake Light Warning Lamp

My 92 K75RT Stop lamp warning lamp in the dash cluster is coming on intermittantly,sometimes dim, somtimes brite,but the stop lamp works fine. Any ideas what I'm looking for?

My 92 K75RT Stop lamp warning lamp in the dash cluster is coming on intermittantly,sometimes dim, somtimes brite,but the stop lamp works fine. Any ideas what I'm looking for?If not the running lite (HI JON!) look at:

All connections to all bulbs. remove the bulbs and make sure the sockets and bulb bases are clean. Make sure ALL the bulbs have silver bases (generally made in Europe ones do.. Osram sells a line of them under the Sylvania name in the US.)

If not that - expect that the messenger is sending a false message. I've replaced 2 of the bulb-monitoring relays on my K bikes. Symptoms were as yours are. Replaced the relay and the problem went away. BMW's official troubleshooting is - check everything else - if it's not something else - then replace the bulb monitor relay. It's the big white one in the Ebox.
