Does anyone have or know of a mount or method that will allow the BMW Navigator II to be moved from the stock central location on the fork of a R1200RT to a position up on the left handle bar above the clutch boost resevoir? I do not want to use the four screws on the resevoir.

RAM makes a plate that replaces the clutch cylinder's cover. It's got a little ear on it that accepts a ball. From there, you could assemble the RAM parts you like.

I have the RAM mount that Kbasa talks about, for my XM and I have decided to forego it. SOmething to think about is that the weight on the handlebars mean that they are now out of balance. It is not a big thing but just something to think about. For me it got to be a problem with the windshield so I decided to remount it.
Good luck.
Oh yeah, for the best mounting options I have found, cyclegadgets.com

Thanks for the replies.
I am concerned with the weight of the Nav II on the clutch booster plate. I had not thought much about unbalancing the steering. I do have a cup holder mounted on a ram mount on the clutch booster. The weight of that including the weight of a 500 ml water bottle does not bother me. I am willing to part with the cup holder. I did find however, that on installing the small screws that hold the cover in place one can easily strip the threads in the housing. This led to the concern that the Nav II would be too much for this method of mounting.
I have also used the empty mirror mount hole on the 12RT for a mirror and thus I am looking for an alternative to any mount, such as the Techmount, that would use that hole.
Has anyone got another method not discussed here that might be considered?

There is a RAM mount that goes in the Mirror hole on the RT's I did not like it that much, send me your address via e-mail or PM and when I get home I will send it to you.

Brad,
Thank you for the offer, that is very generous. I am trying not to use the mirror mount hole as I have a mirror mounted in it.
