lights for a 2002R1150R

I have just purchased a R1150R and would like to use the motolights from my R100s on this bike. I have read about using the cancel turn signal switch to activate the lights. Can anyone point me to a scematic to do this? I bought this bike after not liking the R1200Rt and finding no naked bike being made. Now I am trying to make this a more friendly tourer. Any thought would be appreciated.

I can merely confirm the setup you describe. They were installed by the dealer when I purchased.
