I've got a leaky oil pressure sending unit on my "96 R1100GS. The nearest dealer is 100 miles away. Does anyone know of an interchangeable P/N from a BMW or other car?

... it appears that the switch (#12 in the diagram) changed at build date 12/97. Assuming your '96 was built before then (!) the part number of the oil pressure switch is: 12611277642

Looking up this switch on a part number search provides the following applications:

Car applications include the E30 318i. Build dates from '82 thru '85. Hope this helps.
