Hello All-

The BMW Motorcycle Owners of America, through its educational arm, the BMW MOA Foundation, will present a seminar dealing with the effects of aging on motorcyclists. The average age of a BMW rider is about 53 years. Those years bring an abundance of experience but those years also bring the effects of aging. Safe motorcycle riding requires concentration, coordination, balance and the ability to make quick, effective, decisions. The effects of aging may influence safety; therefore, it’s important that seasoned riders correct or compensate for the changes that occur with age.

More information can be found at http://www.bmwmoafoundation.org/seasonride.html

Hmmm, seasoned rider, would that be red sauce or dry rub seasoning?! :bolt

Seriously, it sounds like a good idea for those of us that have gained chronologic experience. :gerg

Sign up forms available from the AARP booth at the Rally. :)

Seriously, this is a serious topic of concern as we get older, our night vision gets worse, our reaction times get longer and our complacency level gets elevated. This SHOULD be one of the better attended seminars. No riding involved, just discussion. Anyone nodding off in class buys lunch for the rest of the seminar participants. :doh

I'll be there and will bring along my new found 28 year old playmate named Rhonda who just loves Beemers and veterans with a slow hand. She promises to wear her Hooters outfit. Anyone sleeping through this seminar is already dead.....lol :bolt
