What's your reaction to new things??

I came home last night and my bike was on a jack. :confused: Jim had ordered me 2 new tires and was installing them. I was very excited, as they were Pirelli Scorpions!!! WOW - they are cool!!! http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/36/36_1_34.gif They really help on the twisties and makes the bike feel so much lighter and smoother on the corners!! It is sooo cool to have my own Mechanic at home that knows what he's doing and can get this cool stuff done!!

As we were riding home tonight, I kept thinking, "With these new tires, I think I can ride faster" and then sort of chuckled to myself remembering as a kid when we would get new shoes and all of a sudden we thought we could run faster. http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/18/18_3_5.gif

Do any of you get that same feeling when you get something new??

My wife bought me some new socks........

they were ok, kinda jazzy looking
didn't help me in the corners at all
however I didn't feel like a loser at the airport with a toe hanging out

Glad to hear someone else has fits with TSA. My son and I are vacationing in NYC in July. We're taking Amtrak.

Yeah..TSA have a job to do...the funny thing is that we would all laugh at the former soviet union for all the security restrictions they had in the 80's and now the roles are reversing for good or bad...lol They must be rolling on the floors in the Kremlin...lol
