k75rt ignition switch key stopped turning

How do I take the switch out of the dash? I removed the 2 allen screws holding the dash to the bike and removed the wires for the outlet and removed the black cover from the back of the switch. I just want to get it off so i can clean out the wafers and lube with graphite. At least I'm not still stuck in a parking lot.

Carefully lift/remove the plastic trim ring on the dash panel side. It's held by 3 small fingers with hook ends. The switch is held by two ~1/4" wide fingers released from where the trim ring goes.
Take a screwdriver and move each in while mildly pulling the switch from the back. Note that this will not give access to more of the lock/switch, just easier movement. Good Hunting... <<<)))
