I recall reading a fairly comphehensive review of several tank bags in BMWON a while back, but cannot find the article. Anyone remember which month the story ran? Thanks.

Not quite sure what sort of time frame is enveloped by "a while back", BobZ, but I went through all of my back copies of BMW ON to June 2003 and could only come up with two segments for tankbags of any description:

1. AUGUST 2004 (page 88) - Marsee's 20-liter eTankbag ('Get Wired') - a full page-and-a-half review on the item by our very own ON Editor Emeritus, Sandy Cohen. (This one has the Powerlet electric fittings pre-installed at the time of purchase. Neat!)

2. NOVEMBER 2004 (page 98) - Chicane Tank Bag and Tail Bag - two full pages written up by John Grandby. The article carries a review of ONE tank bag, the Canyon EX Tank Bag and the Mesa Rack Bag.

I couldn't find your "fairly comprehensive review of several tank bags" in all those magazines but then, I'm getting old, my eyes are sore, it's just past midnight, Jay Leno has finished his monologue, I've had my warm milk, put on my Depends and I'm goin' to bed. Hope the above info helps. GoodNight! ` :gerg

3. Found another one on Friday morning! DECEMBER 2003 (page 62) - Half-page review on the Marsee 15-liter Teardrop Tankbag. Looks interesting.
