First Post - Asking for Money :-D

I know it's a bit unusual for a new member to ask for money in his/her first post, but I am participating in a charity Bowl-A-Thon this Saturday, April 22nd, and I'm trying one last push for donations.

This event benefits the Junior Achievement organization which does some great work to help kids in the greater Washington, DC area.

welcome to the forum! you are right, it is unusual, so we might want to get to know you better. folks who are regular participants and contributors to the forums have involved us in their charities, and we have contributed.

you can come up to speed very quickly -please introduce yourself, tell us about your bike, the rides you like, the trips you take. post some photos. perhaps folks won't give much this time, but if you get along well with folks, the karma builds.
