Ok, it's time to talk about addictions, no, not addictions to the MOA Forum, or CBC Radio, this is more serious!

How many of us are faithful addicts of the Red Green show?

Do you have a Possum Lodge membership? Or a Possum Lodge crest on your riding jacket?

Perhaps we need a Possum Lodge meeting at the MOA Rally in Vermont.

Regards, Rod.

None of the above, but I NEVER leave home without a handy roll of duct tape :laugh

Ah, yes. . . Red Green's legacy to the world at large, DUCT TAPE and PLAID SHIRTS. Thanks to Red, Harold and all the boys at The lodge for 300 episodes.

Even the folks at NASA loved ya! :thumb

My local PBS affiliate showed RG every now and then. I loved every moment. The handy-projects were AWESOME, and I always got a chuckle from Adventures with Bill and the word-guessing games.

Keep your stick on the ice!

In the 90's in St Louis, they would play Red Dwarf followed by Red Green on Sunday nights.

Whatever happened to Red Dwarf, man? I mean.. they played like 2 brand new episodes and they were AWFUL.. then, the show just disappeared. It's a shame, because all the old episodes were priceless.

I'm aware of 8 seasons of Red Dwarf. My local PBS affiliate always runs it at midnight on Saturday night, but has not run any pre-Starbug episodes in AGES.
There was a *BLOODY HORRIBLE* US attempt at a remake in 1992. There was a rumour a few years ago of a feature-length film...then Craig Charles (Lister) got accused of rape...then acquitted...then he and Robert Llewellyn (Kryten) hosted a couple of battle-bots and junkyard-wars-type shows, and since then I don't think anything else has happened.

More info here (http://www.imdb.com/find?s=all&q=red+dwarf).

Not to hijack our mourning of the Red Green show, but I really dig Red Dwarf!

Red Green is a great show and it's a shame to see it go. I do, however, prefer that to when a show hangs around too much and just isn't funny anymore.

As for Red Dwarf, buy the first 4 seasons on dvd. IMO after season 4 it went downhill. But the first few seasons are pure gold!

Fans of the adorable RED GREEN need not weep now that the show has finished its run.

RED GREEN -The BobbleHead (http://www.cbcshop.ca/CBC/shopping/product.aspx?Product_ID=ETRED00002&Variant_ID=RGBH&lang=en-CA#) - is now available from CBC Television Shop-At-Home.

This'll look great on your mantlepiece or on the dash of your pickup. :thumb

Thanks to CBC-TV, eh!
