    User Settings Control Panel Explained

Hi everybody. With the transition to a new version of VBulletin, it was time to update the discussion about the User Settings about all the various functions of the forum and present a short tutorial on the User Settings Control Panel. Whether you are a new member or a veteran here on the BMW MOA Forum, you will find lots of good information to help make the forum more interactive. You can view the tutorial here:

Luis Roth (Semper_Fi) put the first version of this together; I've updated it for the new version of the forum. Thanks also to reviews by other members of the Mod Team.

This area is for questions about using the Forum

    Folks,

This section is intended to help users use the MOA forum. Questions on how the forum operates, or how you can achieve something using the forum should be asked here.

What shouldn't be posted here is anything else.

If you have a technical question - there is a section called "Garage" with subforums for all the various BMW models. Questions asked there will typically be quickly answered with good info.

If you have a general question/posting - not model/bike specific - consider posting it to the Campfire.

If you have a question/comment on the MOA and how it's run, or how to do something - consider posting it in the Clubhouse.

If you have a comment or suggestion on how the forums might be run better - please post it in Online Central.

As you can see - a lot of thought went into how to make the forum most valuable to our members, and the subforums are there just for that reason. They make it simpler to address a specific audience/interest group with a specific topic.

Please take a few minutes before you make your posting to become familiar with the forum structure!

    Thanks for your cooperation..
