1980 BMW R100 For Sale Clean Title in Hand

I have for sale a 1980 BMW R100. This bike at one point was a R100T, I have all the old T equipment but had removed it for maintenance. This included the following: -Side Cases and brackets -Luftmeister Trunk -Fairing with headlight and chrome trim ring that can be put on bike with or without fairing I have just changed the oil and filters, both carb diaphragms, and regreased the throttle control gears. The bike runs well. This is no beauty queen, but runs great and is a fantastic project. The only known problem is that the rear brake is missing a piece. This beautiful 1994 K1100RS has only 39xxx miles on it. It comes with the best of options: BMW's hardbags (only two years old, still weather tight), ABS II, caliper mounted Motolights (hardwired into the dash), a black leather Corbin Dual Canyon seat, Works Performance fork springs and a cast aluminum fork brace. Michelin Road Pilot 2 tires were mounted 5000 miles ago; new BMW brake pads all around at the same time. A ThrottleMeister cruise control is installed. The BMW Gel battery is just 1.5 years old. All the known wear points of this bike have been addressed over the winter. It's got a new water/oil pump, new fork seals, a new rear main seal, and all splines have been lubed with moly grease. All fluids on the bike, from the forks and brakes to the rear drive, have been flushed and replaced. I have a full service history on the bike. IMO, the K11RS is one of the best bikes BMW has ever made. More power than you can use, without excessive weight, and still simple enough to allow home maintenance. 2005 R1200GS - Wisconsin - $8750

Two words - "Dialed In". That sums up my bike. I took the stock GS (which is a great starting point but not up to more than a 200 mile ride) and upgraded it top to bottom to make it a mile eater. Turn the key, push the button, choose a direction, and roll.......as far as time allows. That's the problem btw, time. I have none this summer. Hence the reason for the sale. More on the bike - Upgrades List Russell Daylong 2-up seat (amazing long haul comfort), Micatech panniers (infinitely better than the BMW stuff), Rox Risers (for better ergonomics), Pivot Pegs (comfort), Cal Sci windscreen (wind management extrordinaire), Cee Bailey winglets (same), Kaoko throttle lock, Bakup back rest Touratech snap in rack (more amazing comfort), Pelican suitcase snaps in to rack, Maier splash guard (keeps the back tidy), Touratech vale cover protectors (for fall overs which has never happened btw), PIAA driving lights (to see and be seen), custom dash with 2 sockets (plug in the Iphone, GPS, Blackberry, Gerbings, what have you) and Eastern Beaver fuse panel, and other stuff that I'm sure I'm forgetting. I also have blue plastics and grey tank fairings if you prefer a different color combo I am the 2nd owner and bought it with 45k miles. I have all service records and books. Oil changed every 3-4k miles. Final drive and tranny fluid changes every 10k miles. I run Mobil 1 V-Twin ($$$). Obviously not a garage queen, but it is fanatically maintained and it shows. I have had it all over the US and it has been a great all around bike - smooth on the interstate, fun in the curves, capable off pavement, and stone cold reliable. Not surprising the GS is viewed by many as the best all around bike on the road. No problems ever in the history of this bike. It's ready for a full season and needs nothing. Nolan n103 flip-up helmet (Brand New)

I tried to sell this flip-up helmet here last year and then forgot about it til now. I have since lowered the price. OK people, I have a very large head. I purchased an XL-sized Nolan N103 N-Com flip-up design helmet, but it is too small for my giganto-melon. This comes in the original box with all papers (I'll include retailer invoice), the Nolan helmet cover as well as all the original factory stickers etc still on the visor, etc. Bought brand new, tried it on to learn it doesn't fit me, so I just ordered an XXL Nolan instead. My fat head means you get a fat-deal. The N103 has a chin-bar that flips-up all the way for open-face riding (at slow speed) and/or talking at the gas station or whatever. I'm selling my Dakar to get a 1150GS or GSA. I am the 3rd owner. I bought in April 2009, wasn't able to ride until September 09 (was in afghanistan). I took it to Capitol BMW in Raleigh, they fixed it but for another $900. They have not had this happen with over 40 years of experience. But its fixed now and it runs perfect. It had inconsistent spark delivery. They removed the engine sidecover and noted that ignition pickup was covered in metal shavings from starter sprag gear. They replaced the shortened out ignition pickup and then the starter sprag shattered. They replaced the starter sprag and flywheel and oil change. Parts are covered with 24 month/24K warranty for labor and parts. I have all the receipts that I paid for so far. I wanted to sell this before but wanted to get it fixed up. 2007 R1200GS

2007 BMW R1200GS with 28,600+ miles on it. Bike was purchased new in July 2007 from BMWOR Tigard. Due to some unanticipated circumstances and needs that have come up, I think the GS needs to go. I do not want to sell it or need to right now, but that responsibility thing has been nagging at me. As for the bike, it really needs nothing. The only time it has been on its side to take a rest was a low speed drop on a dirt road. The engine guards did their job and the only damage to the bike was/is a few nicks in the left valve cover. The crash bar that took the hit has been replaced. And that takes us to what the bike has, H&B engine guards, full BMW luggage (some nicks and dings on luggage from use), Rox handlebar risers, Touratech handlebar bag, driving lights (not fancy, cheap ones for visibility only) HID lights in both hi and low beam, Givi windscreen, BMW winglets, off road type foot pegs, and both seats have been worked over by Spencer of Great Day to Ride. This basically keeps the look of the stock seats, but alters them so they are comfortable. I have done 15+ hour days with no issues on the bike. The battery was replaced over the winter and the Shinko tires have 1100 miles on them. There are other little tid bits here and there on the bike that have been changed too. Now for the bad stuff, bike has some dirt on it. I would take this bike cross country with no reservations. As for the price�.the bike has an extended service contract on it from RPM (also purchased from BMWOR). This �extended warranty� is good until 10/16/2016 with no mileage limit. With the warranty, $13,500. Without the warranty (factory warranty exp this July) $13,000. The bike is financed through BMW. Cash for the bike will result in a signed bill of sale with the payoff going to BMW the same day and the signed title being delivered to the buyer ASAP. R90 Heads and Rockers

I have an extra set of heads and rockers for an R90 that I no longer need. The heads have been completely disassembled, cleaned throughout, and all parts--valve shafts, guides, etc--measured; everything was verified to be well within spec. The valve faces show little to no wear, as do the guides, and the seats all look good. The exhaust threads and plug threads are perfect on both heads. The only bad news is a broken fin on one (I have the broken piece) and the same head also has one cracked fin (the crack is from the pin out to the edge.) UPDATE: I just bought a transmission with 37000 miles on it. IT can go with the bike for this price if you put it in...otherwise I will be installing it soon. Less than 4000 original miles on the engine! Some folks on here can attest to that. The bike has 165,000 on it. The trans is getting hard to shift. Pretty sure it needs a new one (easy to find for around $300) Ok. I will try to remember all the new stuff..Brakes, spiegler ss lines, fresh oil and filter, clutch and clutch parts, fuel injectors, dual LOUD horns,headlight and driving lights, LED dashlight upgrade,Bar risers, removable windshield, good tires, good battery, All controls have been converted to Japanese, Professionally done with brand new sumitomo connections. (Very reliable)All fluids fresh. Gold valves in the forks, new head tube bearings, I have most of the stock body stuff to make it back into an RS if desired. Also comes with a progressive adjustable remote res. shock for the rear that just needs a different size bushing to be installed. Bar end mirrors, All new fuel and vacuum lines, clamps etc. Box of filters and wrench included too. What it needs to be ready for the long trips: Radiator cowling to make it look sharp, rear brake rotor is a bit thin, and transmission. Bike has been parked for 3 months with fresh oil, fuel stabilizer, and a battery tender hooked up (in the garage of course)Clean Title. I got a suzuki Bandit 1250 and have lost interest. 2001 BMW R1100S

I am selling a somewhat rare Yellow/Black 2001 BMW R1100S, only about 100 of these particuar R1100Ss' were shipped to the United States from Germany. The motorcycle has 56.126 miles as of posting this. Has/comes with heated grips, large BMW touring screen, full size BMW bags, centerstand, accessary outlet, Rick Myer Custom seat, aftermarket BMW exhaust. And a brand new set of Metzler Z6, front and rear. "New" rear BMW stock shock, has 13,000 miles on it. Original finally died on me. Front shock is fine, nothing wrong with it, but I do have a spare one and it will be include into the purchase of the motorcycle. Oil has been changed ever 5-6000 miles. All maintance has been done according to the book, by GINA's BMW in Iowa city or a friend of mine who has been working on BMW motorcycles for 10+ years. 60,000 mile service has been done. The bike has a couple scratches, but nothing major mainly from normal road use. Starts right up and runs well. I've put it on a dyno two year ago and it makes 85hp and 73 torque around 7500RPM. All around great bike. I am the third owner, bought the bike from a friend in Ames, Iowa. It had 25,000 miles on it when I got it and now has 56,126 miles. Love the bike, but must let it go. Reason for selling: I have a SV650 fixed up to race and plan on racing it this season, need some money to fund the addiction of racing and need more space in the garage. I purchased these Tourmaster Venture Air pants new about a year ago, and have never worn them. They are a size Large 34-36" waist, come with a zip in liner, and seem to fit true to size. The price at "New Enough" is $166.00 plus shipping. My price is $100.00 shipped in the lower 48. Price is firm for now. The Venture Air pants are designed to offer comfort and protection in a wide variety of weather conditions. The main shell of the pants is made of a loose weave mesh material that will keep you cool on even the hottest of days. The pants are constructed with side zippers that allow you to step into the pants with your boots and and street pants on which makes a design like this ideal for commuters and touring riders. For cooler and/or wet weather, these pants include a two part liner system allowing you to wear one or both of the liners making the pants suitable for a very wide range of weather conditions. The first liner is a thin water/windproof liner, and the second is a thicker insulated liner. I am very impressed with the versatility of these pants. Basically they work in both wet and dry weather, and hot and cold temperatures. The liner system has a few drawbacks though. Both liners, when installed make the pants kind of bulky and neither liner has the side zipper feature like the pant�s outer shell, so when you use these liners, you�ll loose the easy-on/easy-off feature. The pants come with removable CE approved armor in the knees that can be adjusted to three different positions so you can get proper placement and protection. The hips are protected with a soft foam armor as well. The seat and knees have also been reinforced for greater abrasion protection. Stretch panels in the rear of the waist and above the knees help make the pants comfortable and gives the rider a good range of motion. The pants also come with an 8 inch jacket attachment zipper for connection to Tour Master jackets. One new feature we liked when assembling and disassembling the pants is the color coded snaps on the liners and in the legs of the pants. This helps get them back together without inadvertently twisting the liners in the legs�-neat idea! These were taken off when I replaced with full size lids. They are in near perfect condition EXCEPT for a crack near the left lid's lower front hinge attachment point (picture). I would have applied some epoxy would but did not want to conceal the flaw. When they were installed there was no indication the crack. New top end in April 2009. Rebuilt Bing carbs (see below). Electronic ignition added. San Jose fork brace. Krauser bags (with new badges). - Mileage is unknown (odometer doesn't work - typical of that year). I've owned the bike since 1996 and a family member (who was the 2nd owner) had it since 1993. 1958 R60, completely restored

$11,500 OBO. I�ve owned the bike since 1965, and it had only one previous owner. It�s been kept in a garage the last 40 years. Almost everything on the bike is original, except as noted. Numbers match, etc. About 8 to 10 years ago, I rebuilt it, starting at the crankshaft. Legendary BMW mechanic Ed Korn (CycleWorks) did the inside of the motor and put on new bearings. Included are his two VHS videotapes on �How to completely rebuild BMW R50s, R60s, R69s, slash/2s.� New pushrods, bushings, pistons, rings, heads rebuilt with new valves, gaskets, air filter, etc. Slingers were cleaned. Speedometer rebuilt about 12 years ago, now has about 50,000 miles on it, about 6,000 of which I�ve put on it since the complete overhaul eight to 10 years ago. Has both center stand and Flanders side stand. Spare clutch and brake cables coiled up in headlight bucket. This motorcycle has the BMW attachment points for a sidecar. The bike also includes the highly sought after Earles Forks. It has a locking gas cap complete with working key. � Upgraded from 6v to 12v with Bench Mark Works alternator conversion. All sheet metal painted by Bob's BMW, Jessup, MD. First-rate job. � Last year, new 12v battery. � Eight to 10 years ago: new wiring harness, left and right handlebar mirrors and turn signals, a new tire pump, many stainless steel bolts, washers and nuts, most new chrome parts such as handlebar, headlight rim, taillight rim, crashbar, etc., custom small storage bag under driver�s seat, new front and rear shocks, new chrome rims, tires, tubes and almost all other rubber parts. R100RS - VERY CLEAN AND READY TO RIDE NOW

This smoke red vintage beauty is ready to ride now. I've got one too many BMW's in my garage so it's got to go. It starts every time, and runs strong as can be. When the R100RS was first introduced in 1976 it was the fastest and most expensive motorcycle in production. The bike's been carefully and regularly maintained by BMW techs and by me. I'm the second owner, and I have all the original service records from when the bike was new. When you buy the bike, I'll turn over all the records so you can add your own history. Mechanically it is very sound and very strong. The clutch, rear main seal and the various rubber bits that start leaking oil after 25 years were all replaced a couple of years ago. It's oil-drip free. Cosmetically the bike is not perfect but you can see from the photos that it is very clean. When not in use it's been stored in a dry garage under a cover. A minor parking lot tipover a couple of years ago resulted in a complete re-paint of the whole front fairing, so that is in excellent shape. To the best of my knowledge, that was the only time the rubber side was not down. This bike's a rider, not a show piece, although it has won second place three times at the Vintage BMW show at the Grand Rapids BMW dealership. The valve covers are painted "Ford Engine Red" to cover up the numerous stone chips accumulated in the original black covers over the years. I've ridden this bike from Michigan to New Jersey twice, it's been down and back to Texas a few times, and pretty much all over Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and Ontario.
