Spend Labor Day Weekend in the foothills of Blue Ridge Mountains at the Sherando Lake Rally. Ride the Blue Ridge Parkway, Skyline Drive, and the Shenandoah Valley. Visit Monticello, the University of Virginia, Crabtree Falls, Goshen Pass, Natural Bridge, Museum of American Frontier Culture, Lexington, Charlottesville and historic Staunton, Virginia. All within a short ride of Sherando Lake National Recreation Area.
Sherando Lake Campground serves as rally central. Sherando Lake is located in the George Washington National Forest and offers swimming, a sand beach, boat rentals, fishing and hiking - all available from the campground.
Rally fee includes camping, Friday and Saturday dinners along with a continental breakfast Saturday and Sunday. Door prizes and awards also to be featured. Registration is simply $50.00 at the gate. We have established a maximum attendance regarding meals. In the event attendance exceeds the meals, rally fees may be discounted. All bike makes are welcome, however no RV sites or electric hook-ups are available in the group campsite areas. The rally is being held Labor Day weekend starting on Friday concluding Sunday before noon. The campground is just off the Blue Ridge Parkway around mile marker thirteen, twelve miles south of Waynesboro, Virginia. This is a federal park and campground rules apply. The park gates are locked from 10pm – 6am with no exceptions so don’t be late.
